HOW TO PREPARE FOR SSC CGL 2020?

The Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level test — the SSC CGL — is the dream test for lakhs of government work wannabes. The opposition is intense because there are numerous levels as well as the quantity of application is high.

EXAM PATTERN OF SSC CGL- 2020

answer. 

  • The 2nd phase is a descriptive paper. The SSC CGL level II test will have four 

papers. Paper, I will be Quantitative Abilities, Paper-II will be English Language 

and Comprehension, Paper III will be Statistics, and Paper-IV will be General 

Studies. Understudies will get 2 hours to explain each paper. Each paper will 

convey 200 marks. 

  • The students qualifying the first II tiers will be eligible for the skill test. 

SYLLABUS AND STRATEGY TO CLEAR THE TIER- I OF SSC CGL 2020 

The Tier I of SSC CGL consists of four sections. We will discuss each part in detail. So, let us get 

into it. 

  • QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE– This paper will have a weightage of 50 marks and will carry 

two marks for 25 questions. If practiced appropriately, then this paper can get full marks. 

Some tips that can bring in practice to boost up the preparation.  

  • First things first, do not practice from more than one book if basics are not crystal 

clear. It will lead anyone to more confusion. Instead, attempt mock tests. 

  • Clear the basics from NCERT books. 
  • ENGLISH: Fluency in English is essential, as it will be a need even after clearing this first 

phase. 

  • Read editorials and note down those words which are difficult to understand.  
  • Try to listen to the podcasts related to grammar. 
  • REASONING– Reasoning is a kind of brain teaser subject and requires complete 

concentration. 

  • Aspirants must practice it daily. 
  • They can even refer to the previous year questions papers and solving 20-30 

papers daily. 

  • GENERAL AWARENESS– Not restricted to the syllabus, general information is somewhat unusual; however, not troublesome whenever arranged by the correct methodology. 

Competitors should keep themselves completely refreshed with the current undertakings. For that, they can read newspapers. To improve science, students must peruse the Lucent book. NCERT books are more useful to get ready for political science, history, economics, and geography related subjects.
