Emergency Flasher Switch Technical Indicator Wiring Diagram

The four-way emergency flasher was created in the late 1960’s to create additional function on car directional indicator circuits with double visual impact when activated. This four-way emergency flasher switch originally an add on that that was installed typically on late production 122s and 1800s by the dealer who put it below the dashboard in the fan switch area. These emergency flasher switches had a knob with an indicator lamp very similar in appearance to those of the 122 and a800 vintage Volvo.
