AG 440 four channel analog recorder was manufactured by Ampex Corporation in 1967 with rigid die-cast assembly to create optimal stability performance. Integrated with plug-in headblocks and spring-loaded rotating guides, AG-440 allows quick changeover between quarter inch and half inch tape, which is very simple. This analog tape recorder is equipped with AC capstan motor with 24V relays and solenoid controlled tape filters to create excellent performance during its application.
